In this episode we look back over Season 5, discuss some of the subjects we have spoken about during the past few months, explain how the podcast is planned and made, and look ahead to Season 6. Along the way we also have a few Great War stories. The podcast returns for the next Season in September.

Season 5 has been superb, so much different content Paul.Listened to your first Podcast and just knew they were going to be good.You mentioned about the sacrifice of the Canadians in both World Wars, one only has to visit Harrogate CWG at Stonefall to see how many Canadians perished when serving in the RAF from 1941 – 45.Two thirds of those 2000 buried at Stonefall are Canadians , they were based at RAF stations from Wetherby right up to Darlington on the east side of the A1 flying Halifaxes and Lancaster bombers.

    • Yes, I’ve seen that all over this part of the U.K. The contribution Canada may it’s incredibly hard to measure, alongside all those other Commonwealth nations.

  11. Paul…at this point, a massive well done to you for all those fascinating and informative episodes. They have made a huge difference to a great many people. I don’t always leave a comment but I don’t think I have missed a single one. They usually have me reaching for ( or buying ) some book or map…..and making plans to go again…to somewhere on… the Old Front Line.
