Thanks

Thanks Paul for a fascinating Q and A. A sad and strange story about Dorothy Lawrence ( just read more about her on Wikipedia). Thanks also for reiterating France’s role in the Great War. Are there any books in English about the battles around Notre Dame de Lorrette? Yves Buffetaut, some of whose books are translated into English, has written one, but this is in French only.

I believe someone was writing one about Notre Dame de Lorette but it hasn’t appeared yet!

Thanks Paul. While I wait for this to be published I will check out Elizabeth Greenhalgh or some more of Ian Sumner.
